Getting Automaton Simulator

Automaton Simulator should run on any platform supporting Java, version 1.3 or later.

  1. Automaton Simulator requires Java 1.3 or later. If you do not already have it on your computer, Java is available from java.sun.com.

  2. Download AutoSim.jar (357 kilobytes).

  3. On Windows and MacOS systems, you might be able to start Automaton Simulator by simply double-clicking on the AutoSim.jar file. On Unix-based systems, type ``java -jar AutoSim.jar''. You'll also have to do that on Windows systems if the double-clicking doesn't work.
