JETT at Hendrix: Staff

Carl Burch has been a college professor for four years, first at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota, and now at Hendrix College. He has also taught high school students for six summers at the Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Sciences. He received a PhD in computer science from Carnegie Mellon University in 2000.

Dwayne Collins has taught computer science and mathematics at Hendrix College since 1982 and has been active with outreach to Arkansas high school programs. He received a PhD in mathematics from the University of Houston in 1981 and is currently pursuing an MS in computer science.

Cheri Burch taught high school computer science until her recent retirement, first at Ponca City High School in Ponca City, Oklahoma, then at Del Norte High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is currently an adjunct instructor at the University of New Mexico. She received an MS in computer science from Oklahoma State University in 1978 and is now working toward her PhD.

Gabe Ferrer has taught computer science at Hendrix College for two years. He received his PhD in computer science from the University of Virginia in 2002.
